A rainy day in Durban delivered real moments of joy. From the incredibly humble and grateful foreigners fed by Mandy Pearson’s efforts this afternoon, to the amazing donations that mysteriously continue to appear in our accounts, to the 78 food parcels that we handed out to vulnerable members of the Point Road area, to the kids in Bhambayi dancing in the rain. It was a good day, despite the lockdown blues that seem to grip most households that little bit harder on the gloomy days. Remember. This will pass. Stay present. Look for joy in the small, monotonous things. We are going to move through this period of discomfort, and soon, we will once again walk and run and swim in the sunshine ❤️
